A job we got called into
The shower held for three years.
A builder put a sub on a shower and the sub built it cheap. Nobody could tell. It looked like every other new bathroom in the house.
Three years later it let go. The bathroom flooded, the water found the basement, and both of them filled with mold. By the time we were called, the repair was not a shower. It was two floors of the house.
We took it back to the studs and built it the way it should have been built the first time.
They told us they liked it more than they liked it when it was new.

Most of what goes wrong on a remodel is not craftsmanship. It is a number nobody said out loud and a schedule nobody meant. We do that part first, in writing, before anyone swings a hammer.

You tell us what you want changed and what bothers you now. We look at what is behind the walls we would be opening, because that is where the surprises live.

Scope written out line by line, so you can see what is in it and what is not. If the number is more than you expected, you hear it from us now instead of from a change order later.

Dust walls up, floors covered, the same faces on your job every day. Swept and put back every evening, because you still live there while we are in it.

We go through the finished room with you and fix the small things on the spot. Then the warranty starts, and you have our number for the year after.

Plastic up before the first cut. Floors covered on the path in and out. Tools off the stairs, the site swept, and the door locked behind us every night. Our crews are polite in your kitchen and quiet on your street, and you can leave them in the house with your kids home.
Clean at the end of every dayOne year, and we mean it
Things do happen. A remodel is thousands of parts meeting an old house. So here is the deal in plain words: for one year, if we caused the damage, or something failed because of the way we built it, we come back and we cover it. You do not have to argue with us about it.

The questions everybody asks us.
What is this going to cost?
More than the internet told you, and we would rather say that here than on your kitchen counter. Every house is different once the wall is open, so we do not publish a price list we would have to walk back. We walk the project, write the scope out line by line, and give you one number you can actually plan around. If it is more than you want to spend, we will tell you what we would cut and what we would never cut.
How long will my house be torn up?
You get a date range before we start, and it is a real one. A bathroom is measured in weeks, a whole floor in months. What blows a schedule is usually a selection that has not been made or a material that was ordered late, so we lock both of those before demo day rather than during it.
How do I know you will not disappear halfway through?
Fair question, and it is the most common complaint in this whole industry. We do not take deposits and vanish onto three other jobs. You get the same faces on your project, a schedule you can hold us to, and a phone number that gets answered. Ask us for addresses of work we have finished nearby and we will give them to you.
What if something goes wrong after you leave?
You call us and we come back. For one year, anything we damaged or anything that failed because of how we built it is on us. That is the whole policy, and there is no small print under it.
Do you handle water damage and mold?
Yes, and it is a good share of what we do. We dry the structure, cut out what is ruined, and then rebuild the room properly instead of covering it back up. If it started as a leak behind tile, we will show you what caused it before we close the wall.
Do you take small jobs?
Sometimes, and we will be straight with you when we are not the right fit. If your project is a half day of handyman work, a smaller outfit will serve you better and cost you less. If it involves water, structure, or anything you would hate to have done twice, that is our work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Licensed, insured, and happy to hand over the certificates before you sign anything. Any contractor who hesitates when you ask that has answered the question.
